Hi guys! I know I said I'd color this yesterday, and I started to, but then my dad told me I had to clean the roof, and then after I cleaned the roof my mom came home and we went to dinner, so I really didn't have that much time to work on it.
It was easy to color in, but the background... yikes. I actually went through about three different background choices before choosing this one, and I'm still not really that sure of my choice. As you know from my past works, I totally suck at have been trying to improve on lighting and shading. That's why I'm requesting critique on this piece, I need all the help I can get. What are those yellow things? Probably fireflies. Scaling may be off, I wouldn't know because I haven't seen The Lorax yet.
Drawn and colored with a mouse on SketchBookPro.
MLP: FiM and Fluttershy - *fyre-flye The Lorax and Truffula trees - Universal Studios
I will request critiques on this, but just take into consideration that THIS IS MOUSEWORK, so it's kind of impossible for the lines to be super-duper-smooth. And they aren't.
If you like it, be sure to check out my commission info at [link] ! You can get a fully refined, shaded and lighted headshot of YOUR character for only 2! Or, you can get a picture just like this with YOUR characters and YOUR choice of background for only 10, 3 for each additional character!
Who knows, if the Lorax couldn't stop the Once-ler from destroying all the Truffula trees, maybe Fluttershy could...?
looks good! im not a master on how all the poses should look, and this one is quite unique, but from what i can tell, the main thing here is the back leg... It's bending the wrong way you were probably confused because that's how a human leg would bend, but horse legs go ...the other way >w<
BUT IT'S LOOKING GOOD! and remember, Keep On Drawing!
